Judith Ravin, the U.S. Consul General in Chennai invites you to join her for a virtual Town Hall
Saturday, December 12, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am via Zoom.

Consul General Ravin will speak about the U.S.-India relationship and answer questions.  Chief of Consular Services Kathryn Flachsbart will discuss assistance to U.S. citizens.  A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) representative will review COVID-19 countermeasures, and the Chennai Regional Security Office will brief viewers on emergency preparedness in South India.

If you have a question you would like to submit in advance of the Town Hall, please send your inquiry to ChennaiACSTownHall@state.gov prior to the event.  Please note, privacy laws prohibit Consulate officials from discussing specific individuals’ cases in a public forum, so we will only be able to address questions that are general in nature.

The U.S. Consulate General Chennai strongly recommends that all U.S. citizens in India register their presence in the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) (http://step.state.gov) and check for the latest security information on the State Department’s website at http://travel.state.gov.  For information about passport or notarial services, please visit https://in.usembassy.gov/.
