March 13, 2023: The United States and India are partnering together to solve some of the world’s toughest development challenges, including climate change, health access and equity, and inclusive economic growth. From March 11-15, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) of the Bureau for Asia, Änjali Kaur, is visiting India to advance the U.S.-India development partnership, and to meet with government officials, development partners, and visit USAID-supported sites.
While in New Delhi, on March 15, DAA Kaur will deliver a keynote address at an event commemorating Women’s History Month and elevate women leaders and youth change-makers that are addressing gender-based violence, stigma and discrimination, and reducing barriers to equitable access to health services in their communities.
