U.S. Consulate General Mumbai Opens “Women Inspiring Change” Photography Exhibit

Mumbai  U.S. Consulate General Mumbai will inaugurate a photography exhibit entitled “Women Inspiring Change,” on Tuesday, April 15 at 5:00 PM at the NCPA Primal Art Gallery.  This exhibit marks the Consulate’s fourth annual online photo contest on women’s empowerment.  At the opening, the top 15 photo submissions will go on display and awards will be presented to the top photographers.  The exhibit runs through April 19.

The theme of the photography contest, Women Inspiring Change, underscores the important roles women play in society.  It celebrates individual acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in their families and communities, and who inspire a future generation of girls.
