Mumbai: The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) will hold a University Fair in Mumbai on Friday October 2, 2015.  The University Fair is free and open to the public.  It will take place at the J.W. The University Fair will include representatives from 24 universities and colleges from across the United States.  Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University, University of South Florida, and University of Southern California are some of the institutions that will be represented.

U.S. Consulate General consular officers and advisers from the USIEF will be on hand to answer questions from students and parents on selecting a university and applying for a visa.

Currently, more than 102,000 Indian students are studying in the United States, making Indians the second-largest foreign student body.  With 9,000-plus academic institutions available, the U.S. educational system offers something to meet every student’s academic needs.
