The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India, will offer off-site passport services for U.S. citizens in Varanasi from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on July 23, 2014 at the lobby of The Gateway Hotel Ganges, Nadesar Palace Grounds, Varanasi. On this date, a Consular Officer and staff will accept passport applications and notarials. If you plan to attend, please RSVP toacsnd@state.gov.
Documentary and administrative requirements for passport applications may be found on the Embassy’s internet homepage at https://in.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/citizenship-services/. Please read the requirements carefully, as failure to bring all necessary documents may substantially delay the processing of your application. Please bring photocopies of all your documents.

All new passports are now returned via courier. You must bring a separate demand draft for the courier service in favor of “First Flight Couriers LTD” for Rs. 350. The demand draft should be made payable at New Delhi. Any variation from this will not be accepted by ‘First Flight Couriers LTD’. We cannot accept cash for this service.
The officer will not be able to entertain appeals, document submissions or inquiries related to non-immigrant or immigrant visas.
