During this trip he had lively and encouraging discussions on the growth of the U.S. – India Strategic Plus relationship with a wide range of civil society representatives, journalists, students, media personalities, industry leaders and Government of Assam officials, including Governor of Assam and Tripura, His Excellency P.B. Acharya. And yes, he also managed to take a short walk by the river Brahmaputra with the new Kolkata U.S. Consul General Craig Hall, and make a new friend while offering his respect at the Kamakhya temple!
