Message for U.S. Citizens – Town Hall for U.S. Citizens

Dear U.S. citizens:

Greetings from American Citizen Services at the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai!

You’re invited to the 6th Annual Town Hall for U.S. citizens and their immediate families on the afternoon of March 2nd, 2019.  Come join us on our Consulate lawn for an afternoon of games and activities for U.S. citizens of all ages.  Meet Consul General Edgard Kagan and other Consulate staff, learn about resources available to U.S. citizens, and enjoy a relaxing day of fun in the sun.

Highlights of the afternoon:

  • Consul General Edgard Kagan will address guests.
  • Representatives from EducationUSA will answer your questions about studying in the United States.
  • S. companies will have products available for sampling and purchase.
  • Representatives will be present to answer all your tax queries.
  • Kids can participate in field games about emergency preparedness.
  • You will learn how to better prepare your family for emergencies and crises.
  • Bouncy castles, balloon animals, and crafts galore!

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon.

SECURITY:

Large bags such as backpacks, sharp objects, cameras, power banks, USBs, laptops, and cigarette lighters are not allowed on the premises.  Cellular phones are permitted, but video is strictly PROHIBITED.  Pictures and selfies are restricted to specific areas only. 

RSVP Required:  If you would like to attend, please send an email with your full name as it appears on your I.D. to MumbaiACSTownHall@state.gov  by Wednesday, February 27.  Please RSVP for all immediate family members and remember to bring your U.S. passport.  If you are an accompanying family member of a U.S. citizen, please bring another form of government-issued photo I.D.  Any purchases, including food and drinks, will need to be paid with cash (Indian Rupees) only.
