Event: Due to the sharp rise of new COVID-19 cases and deaths throughout India in the past month, all routine U.S. citizen services and visa services at the U.S. Consulate General Chennai are cancelled from April 26 through May 15. The U.S. Consulate General Chennai remains open for emergency U.S. citizen services. Emergency U.S. citizen services appointments must be scheduled in advance by emailing ChennaiCS@state.gov.
