Do you know that U.S. universities follow a holistic approach of admitting students, and do not accept students based on their academic records alone? Are you wondering how the admissions committee at a U.S. university reviews your application packet?
The Mock Admission Committee encourages students to explore a variety of factors that are weighed by an admissions committee at a U.S. university when making decisions to admit, wait-list or deny a student admission to a particular college or university. During the mock admissions simulation students review the basics of the college-admission process in a group-oriented, hands-on activity. Participants will be divided into small groups and will play the role of admissions officers. Each group will be given a set of “students” and will decide which students will be admitted to “their” university.
Attend the free session that will give you an insight to better your application packet before sending it off to U.S. universities.
Please note that this session is for STUDENTS ONLY (both prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students). Since, this is a hand-on-activity, seats are limited.
Registration is mandatory.
