The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in South Asia is represented by the Foreign Agricultural Service’s Office of Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi. Its basic mission is to represent the interests of U.S. agriculture and assist exporters of American agricultural products in assessing and developing markets in the South Asian nations in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The office also aids Indian importers to find U.S. suppliers for needed agricultural products.
