EducationUSA@USIEF Hosts 10th Annual Student Alumni Fair

Date: Saturday, January 14, 2017
Time: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: Fulbright House Lawns, 12 Hailey Road, New Delhi 110 001

This Saturday, alumni from U.S. higher education institutions will participate in EducationUSA’s annual alumni fair in New Delhi.  At the fair students interested in U.S. higher education can interact with current students and alumni and get first-hand information on academic and social life.  The unique feature of this fair is that universities are represented by alumni and current students rather than university admissions officials.

Indian students in the United States contribute more than $5 billion to the U.S. economy and support more than 64,000 jobs.  Today, every sixth international student is from India – 166,000 in total – representing a 25% growth from the previous year.

To learn more about the U.S.-India higher education ties check out the Mission’s higher education internet page which includes fact sheets on student numbers, videos from Indian alumni of U.S. institutions, and information on our seven EducationUSA centers in the country.

Admission to the fair is free. Visitors to the fair are encouraged to register online at
