Arise ‘n’ Shine Kids experience the American Library

On May 13, 2015, the American Library welcomed 90 children, ages 5-12, and nine teachers from seven centers of  Arise ‘n’ Shine summer school program.  Children were treated to a screening of “Finding Nemo” before letting loose in the Library’s new children’s corner.  PAO Ariel Pollock enthralled the kids with a story-reading session of “Duck for President,” providing simple insights into the election process in a democracy, and small teasers like “Who is the President of United States? …India?” Consulate librarians engaged them through fun activities and distributed copies of “Color Me Wild!,” an activity booklet consisting of fun facts, puzzles, and coloring sheets.
